Itinerary:

DAY 1: Cusco to Cusipata:

We will Pick from your hotel in Cusco up at 6:30 / 7:00 pm. Our private transportation will take you to “Cusipata River Lodge”. Here you will enjoy, double room with bath, where you can sleep with the gentle singing of the Urubamba River.

DAY 2: Cusipata – Rainbow Mountain – Cusco:

After the breakfast we departure at 7:00 am, Driving in our private transport for one hour through a scenic route, accompanied by snow-capped mountains, to the start of our trek to “RAINBOW MOUNTAIN”, a Valley located at 4,900 msnm.

Rainbow Mountain is a colorful mountain side in the high Andes of Peru. In short, the colors you see were formed by sedimentary mineral layers in the mountain that have been exposed by erosion.

We start with our adventure with a hike uphill for about 1 hour and a half. Continuing we appreciate in the distance the snowy-mountains and wonderful landscapes, finally we arrive at the “Rainbow Mountain”, from the highest part you can appreciate this stunning landscape. After visiting and taking pictures, we will return with a 1 hour and 30 minutes, hike arriving to Llactoc and then to Cusipata Private Lodge and then to the city of Cusco arriving approx. 4:00 p.m.
